Event Summary

This event introduced Multi-TW, a Traditional Chinese multimodal benchmark initiative designed to evaluate image+text and audio+text understanding in localized scenarios.

The session emphasized that fast AI progress requires not only building quickly, but also evaluating correctly with trustworthy benchmarks.

Highlights

The team shared three core design choices: high-quality official exam data from SC-TOP collaboration, latency-aware evaluation metrics, and a multiple-choice multimodal format focused on comprehension.

Participants were invited to try the benchmark and contribute feedback to strengthen Taiwan’s Traditional Chinese AI ecosystem.
